Grahn is a member of the town guard, though not exactly committed to the role. His father is a hunter, a very accomplished one, but Grahn finds all the killing and all the blood rather distasteful. He would rather be at the tavern on any given day, playing dice or cards with his friends. Grahn is not exactly a coward, but his fellow guards suspect that he may not be trustworthy in a day of danger. What his fellow guardsmen do not know is that he is the very thief they have been searching for these past few months. He once met a rogue at the tavern who taught him a few tricks and gave him a few ideas for how to support the life of leisure he longs for.
